Becoming a citizen of the United States of America isn't easy. As with many other countries around the world, the US requires anyone applying for citizenship to take a test as part of the process. Designed to test whether you've truly absorbed the history and values of the country, this test consists of 10 civics questions, drawn from a possible list of 100. Aspiring citizens must score at least six out of 10 to be successful.
Fortunately for anyone interested in moving to the US (unless you're from one of the Muslim-majority countries about to be blocked by Donald Trump's latest travel ban), all 100 possible questions are available online so it's possible to revise in advance. Many of the questions are straightforward too, covering basic things about the US (how many states there are, who the president is) that shouldn't cause anyone much grief.
Some, however, are a lot trickier, to the point where we're not sure many Americans would be able to score highly enough to be allowed to live in their own country. Don't believe us?
